Yes. We are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and comply with all UK pharmacy regulations and standards.

Absolutely. All personal, medical and prescription information is handled securely in accordance with data protection laws (e.g. GDPR). Only authorised staff have access to your records.

Prescriptions & Ordering

You can nominate York Delivery Pharmacy as your chosen pharmacy through our ‘nominate us’ page.

Yes — under the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), you can switch your nominated pharmacy at any time.

Whilst this is not essential, if you wish to you can. Once you nominate York Delivery Pharmacy, the team here will contact your GP to let them know that York Delivery Pharmacy is now your nominated pharmacy.

We accept NHS prescriptions, repeat prescriptions, and (where applicable) private prescriptions.

Yes — carers or family members may order on behalf of a patient, with their permission, providing necessary identity and prescription details.

Medication and Safety

We source from trusted, licensed pharmaceutical wholesalers and apply strict quality control to guarantee authenticity and safety.
Yes — on request, we can package your medications in blister packs or dosette packaging to help with medication adherence.

Costs, Exemptions & Payment

Yes — we accept the same NHS Prepayment Certificates (PPC) and exemptions that you would use at a local pharmacy.

You can submit your exemption certificate details when signing up on our ‘Nominate us’ page or inform us via phone or email.

No. Our prescription and delivery services are transparent. For NHS prescriptions, there are no hidden delivery charges.

Consultations & Support

You can call us, email us, or fill out a ‘contact us’ form specifying you’d like to speak to a pharmacist. We aim to respond promptly.

Yes — we offer private (non-NHS) consultations and services. Please contact us for details on availability.

Our standard customer support hours are Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Outside those hours, you can still send queries via email, ‘contact us’ page and we’ll respond on the next working day.
